I have seen four females and one male of this species. According to Rod Crawford from the Burke Museum at the University of Washington, almost nothing is known about these spiders.

These spiders have very unusual abdomens. They are quite shiny, with an almost satiny sheen, as can be seen in image 2.

I got a pretty good picture of this spider's fangs, with the chelicerae slightly spread, in image 3.
